Dr. Laurie Harrington
The private dermatology practice of Dr. Harrington was established in 1994. She is a board certificed Dermatologist and a member of the AAD (American Academy of Dermatology), the ASDS (American Society for Dermatologic Surgery), and the ASLMS (American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery), as well as numerous other professional organizations.
Dr. Harrington remains on the cutting edge of new technology and cosmetic dermatology developments through post graduate programs. Dr. Harrington has completed extensive cosmetic dermatology and medical courses at some of the country's most prestigious facilities. Her interest and expertise in the cosmetic aspects of dermatology have earned her the reputation as a leader in her field of practice.
Dr. Harrington frequently lectures to local organizations and physicians on general and cosmetic dermatology. She has also become involved in the educational aspect of dermatology at LSU Health Sciences Center. In that role she teaches residents and accompanies them on rounds at local training hospitals and during rotations through her office.

Dr. Justin Creel
Dr. Creel is a board certified dermatologist and newest member of our practice. Born and raised in Central, he is a graduate of Central High School, where he achieved All-State honors for the Wildcats baseball team. He went on to play baseball at Coastal Carolina University and carried a 4.0 GPA while serving as team captain. In his senior year, he earned Academic-All American honors and was named the conference’s Academic Athlete of the Year.
Dr. Creel Attended Medical School at LSU Health-Shreveport and finished with a 4.0 GPA and salutatorian of his medical school class. He scored in the 98 percentile nationally on his board exams prior to matching in the dermatology program. Justin recently completed his dermatology residency at LSU-New Orleans and served as chief resident his final year.
Justin is married to his high school sweetheart, the former Samantha McCauley of Zachary. They are proud parents of two daughters, Lainey, (5) and Anna (4), and the family dog, Molly, a cavapoo.

Kristen Hebert
Kristen Hebert is a board-certified Physician Assistant who has been in practice at our facility since 2016. Born and raised in New Iberia, she graduated from New Iberia Senior High School and attended Louisiana State University where she was a member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Society. From there, Kristen successfully achieved a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from LSU and went on to obtain a Master's degree in Medical Science from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge.
Licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners, Kristen holds a national certification from the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants). She is an active member of the SDPA (Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants), LAPA (Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants), and the AAPA (American Academy of Physician Assistants). With an extensive background in dermatology, Kristen looks forward to helping her patients address and alleviate their skin, hair, and nail concerns.
